Since 2023, our collaboration with a prominent Korean company has yielded successful events, particularly through the Security Manpower Training (SMT) Program Indonesia. This program is designed to address cybersecurity issues, which have garnered attention from all sectors of society due to the rising challenges. To offer viable solutions and bridge the gap in cybersecurity expertise, the SMT Program Indonesia was established to educate and expand the pool of future cybersecurity professional leaders in both countries.
The SMT Program Indonesia targets students in IT fields, offering free online courses, visits to Korea, and job opportunities upon completion, all fully funded. In partnership with the Ministry of ICT South Korea, KISIA, and NSHC, along with INKOR, we successfully conducted online training and facilitated visits to Korea in 2023. This harmonious collaboration has significantly impacted students, with several receiving job offers from top cybersecurity companies. Notably, two of the students are currently employed by a Korean cybersecurity company in South Korea.
We are pleased to continue this impactful program into the current year, ensuring ongoing support for cybersecurity education and development. The continuation of the SMT Program Indonesia underscores our dedication to fostering a secure digital future through education and international collaboration. These initiatives align with our long-term goals and commitment to educational excellence, aimed at building a strong foundation for cybersecurity leadership and innovation.
